Our Journey Since 2002
Founded as Maxim Technologies, MaxASP.net is a Christian-owned and operated non-profit committed to integrity, excellence, and serving others as an expression of their faith. For over two decades, we have been a trusted partner in Classic ASP and ASP.NET hosting, growing from a small technology firm into a reliable provider of robust, scalable web solutions.
- 2002: Established as Maxim Technologies, began with a single server purchased off eBay.
- 2002-2007: Focusing on building out the hosting infrastructure and growing our presense with brand new equipment. Expanded into professional hosting services, supporting Rehabmart.com and other e-commerce platforms. Added SQL Server high availability for our enterprise clients.
- 2008: Maxim Tech was an early adopter of virtualization. This moved us to a higher level of reliability and manageability.
- 2009-2020: Extended reliability and scalability adding enterprise load balancers.
- 2021-2025: Opened a second datacenter and created advanced option for sites to automatically failover between datacenters as needed.
- 2026: Transitioned to a non-profit, MaxASP.net. Focus on Windows Server, SQL Server, and modern ASP.NET hosting with enterprise features.
- Today: Proudly serving clients with reliable infrastructure, including enterprise load balancing, SQL Server high availability and datacenter redundancy. Powered by a dedicated team with deep expertise.

Duane Shippy graduated from Georgia Tech with a Computer Science degree. He has extensive experience in IT systems administration, network engineering, and e-commerce operations. Duane brings deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, including F5 BIG-IP, Windows Server, SQL Server, and virtual environments.

Mike Price
Co-Founder / CTO/CMO
Mike Price, OTR, is a co-founder of Rehabmart.com and brings extensive clinical and technical expertise to MaxASP.net. As a passionate technologist and occupational therapist, he has driven innovation in e-commerce platforms and web infrastructure. His vision helped establish the foundation for reliable, scalable hosting solutions that power successful online businesses.
